According
to the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, there
are only 28 certified solar installers Massachusetts. There are many
requirements that must be met before it is even possible to become a
certified professional. These requirements include installing PV panels
for a minimum of four years under a certified practitioner, or at least
two years experience coupled with a board certified training course.
All solar installers MA must do this as well. Licensed contractors
in similar fields, or people with four-year construction or engineering
degrees can become certified with as little as one year of experience.
Two-year solar specific degrees with a minimum of one year experience
installing PV panels are acceptable standards as well with solar installers
Massachusetts. Once these guidelines are met, it is possible to become
a certified PV practitioner.
The other requirements for solar installer Massachusetts are being
at least 18 years of age, complete the application form stating educational
and work requirements, sign a code of ethics and pass a thorough written
exam. All of these requirements must be completed for all solar installers
MA before they can become certified photovoltaic practitioners. Completing
the program basically ensures work though, customers can easily see
the accreditation which is difficult to get, but ensures that proper
and safe work will be done.
