This is a question we hear from time to time. Our site, SolarHome.org, receives thousands and thousands of visitors everyday. Many are looking for information and some ask us questions (that we are happy to answer.) However, the end result is a lot of extra costs in terms of server space, customer service, phone bills, etc. from non-paying customers.

The Google ads enable us to offset these costs so that they are not added to our product or shipping costs. We are committed to providing our customers with the best service at the lowest prices. Google ads aid us in accomplishing this. Though it may be an inconvience and an annoyance, we hope that the cost savings we are able to offer as a result more than make up for this.

Please let us know your thoughts on this issue. We are not big fans of ads either, but the majority of our paying customers seem to agree with us and are in favor of having non-paying visitors pay for the costs they generate.
