Description

SolarTech 12V C1D2 Solar Modules

Designed to be used in hazardous gas C1D1 locations and wired in series for higher voltages, the SPM160P-S-F solar module is an excellent choice for all smaller off-grid solar power applications. The systems are typically used to charge 12, 24 or 48 Volt batteries when wired into one or two solar modules in series. High-quality 12 V solar modules range in size from 10 W to 160 W.

All SPM160P-S-F modules include:

  • Large conduit rated junction boxes
  • Four (4) knockouts
  • Tempered glass face
  • Strong tubular anodized aluminum frame
  • The glass surface is impact resistant and allows maximum light transmission
  • A weather resistant junction box accommodates all wiring methods including moisture-tight strain relief connectors and electrical conduit.
  • Bypass diodes ensure reliable operation
  • Anodized aluminum tubular frames add strength and durability to the modules with pre-drilled mounting holes

25-year limited warranty of 80% power output;
12-year limited warranty of 90% power output;
5-year limited warranty of materials and worksmanship

IEC61215, TUV certification
UL 1703 certification
ETL Class I ,Division 2,Groups C and D certification

SolarTech line of solar modules power 100s of proven applications including:

  • Security and surveillance / PTZ cameras / Street crossing lights
  • Transportation signage / Bus stop and shelter lighting / Parking meters and kiosks
  • SCADA controllers / Wireless sensor nodes / Weather and environmental sensors
  • Cell and satellite modems / Wi-Fi mesh devices / Machine to machine nodes
  • Domestic and agriculture water pumps / Off-grid homes / Electric bicycle charging station

These modules are not recommended for use in applications greater than 1000 Watts. (Instead use the more economical: Large-format 260 Watt and 300 Watt modules such as Yingli, REC Solar, JA Solar, and SolarWorld modules.)
