Using solar lights is the perfect way to utilize the sun to light up the night. Think of how much energy you could save by using solar lights in your home and garden. Now think of how much energy our country could save if everyone utilized solar lights.

In fact, did you know that our country instilled Daylight Saving Time mainly as a way to lessen our energy use? Wouldn't it make sense if they encouraged us to use solar lights to meet the same end?

This is essentially how Daylight Saving Time works: by lessening the time between sunset and bedtime in the summer, energy is saved - once asleep in bed, people turn off the lights and TV, etc. And during the daylight hours, they do not need the lights on.

It only makes sense for people to convert the home lights into solar lights, to set up home solar power systems. But maybe it will take another huge energy crisis to convince our country to encourage the use of more solar power -- it was during times of war and energy crises of the past that Daylight Saving Time was truly instilled into regular practice within our country.
